The International Association of Forensic Investigators has named Board Member Det. John J. Baeza, NYPD Ret., as their Senior Chief Information Officer, Detective Baeza will be in charge of media relations and will serve as correspondent for our organization at events being reviewed for the benefit of our members and the forensic community in general. We look forward to all the activities covered by or CIO and wish him the best in this endeavor.
Back in 2010 we began a project to improve practices and protocols in Forensic Science, a small group of Forensic Investigators that would eventually form our parent organization Colegio Internacional de Investigadores Forenses (CIIF) in Mexico.
Today, International Forensic Experts act as representatives for both CIIF and IAFI in Argentina, Ecuador, Spain and Peru.
But one of the most important steps, in achieving the goal we set back in 2010, is forming the International Association of Forensic Investigators.
